Can you program a Toyota Hilux remote if the manual steps don’t work?
Yes. Some Hilux variants won’t accept manual programming, or they can stop accepting it after repeated attempts. In those cases, we program compatible remotes using diagnostic equipment (where supported).
Do you program keys as well as remotes?
Yes — where supported. What’s possible depends on the year, variant and immobiliser system, plus whether you have a working key already available. If you’re unsure, call and we’ll quickly confirm what your Hilux supports.
Will an aftermarket remote work?
Sometimes, but quality and compatibility vary. If the remote isn’t the correct type, the Hilux may never accept it. If you’ve already bought one, we can check whether it’s the right match before wasting more time.
